Amanda also serves as a non-executive director for Mineworkers Investment Company, where she is also a member of the investment committee. She also sits on the boards of technology organisations, Dynamic Visual Technologies, Cloudsmiths, and Inspired Testing. Amanda is the founder and director of UYANDISWA Group Pty Ltd, and UYANDISWA Project Management Services Pty Ltd.
Previous experience
For most of her corporate career, Amanda has worked primarily in information technology within the finance sector. In 2013, she founded the project management consulting firm UYANDISWA, which has been providing end-to-end project management, technology and business consultancy services to the private sector in Southern Africa. She was appointed the director of financial services at JSE-listed Adapt IT in 2017. Amanda has served in various senior positions at all four major South African banks and as chief information officer at Barclays Africa.
A renowned and awarded businesswoman as well as a Duke Corporate educator, Amanda devotes much of her time to mentorship, leadership development, and keynote addresses on entrepreneurship, technology and innovation across the globe.
